Introduction(8 minutes)
1. Greet students ready for learning.
2. Teacher asks the students to talk about eating habits in different countries in pairs, using object clauses as much as possible:
Example:
A: Do you know if people in the north of China like eating noodles?
B: Yes, I think so…?
A: …
3. Teacher asks the students to report the homework. Let them read the passage about how to cook their favorite food, using adverbs of sequence and manners: First… Next… Then… Finally… and finely, carefully, lightly, slowly…
4. Teacher evaluates students’ homework and tells them that if they want to learn English well, it’s important to review the knowledge they have learnt.
5. Teacher leads to the new lesson: Kangkang and his friends have prepared many kinds of delicious foods for the International Food Festival. Today the first International Food Festival is open. Would you like to go and enjoy it with me? OK, let’s begin our wonderful trip now!
