Abstract: Based on the chemical anal sis data in the dr period of 2003, the article anal zes and evaluates
the envir onment and qualit of surface w ater under the present condition in Jincheng cit , and carr out
quantitative assessment for pollution degree of river b comprehensive pollution exponential method, that has
found most part of the surface w ater bod had polluted seriousl and the groundw ater also polluted in some
extent . And it also anal zes pollution reasons and puts forw ard control measures.
