ABSTRACT Reading is one of the important activities in kindergarten. Shared reading activity is more mature in the field of reading system recent years and is widely used in kindergartens of Handan city. This article mainly uses observations, questionnaires, interview method and literature method, in order to learn the situation in shared reading activity of preschool teachers of Handan City. There are six aspects to learn about it: the class hour which shared reading activity is taking for, the relationship between shared reading activity and other language education activity, teachers quality, teaching strategies, teacher-child relations, and the environment of shared reading activities. The results show that the kindergarten and preschool teacher pay great attention to the development of shared reading activity, but the teachers’ teaching strategies need to be improved. What’s more, the creation of environment is obviously insufficient and the application of multimedia technology is not widely used. To solve these problems and analyze the reasons, I put forward suggestions based on Teachers teaching strategy, environment and the application of multimedia technology. KEYWORDS shared-reading t
