摘 要 十一届三中全会以来，江西以改革开放促发展，有力地推动了经济会发展。但与周边兄弟省市相比，江西还是处于相对落后的局面。面对新形势，如何有效发挥江西区域优势，加速在中部地区经济板块中崛起，缩小与发达省份的差距，顺利实现江西经济在新起点上“崛起新跨越”，无疑是摆在我们面前的重大课题。区域经济学立足于区域经济的增长与发展，着眼于区域经济活动在结构、空间和组织上的最优化，着重于对区域经济问题的总体、综合和动态的研究，是实现区域经济可持续发展的有效规律。因此，江西必须以区域经济学为基础，营造良好发展环境，加快基础设施建设，积极调整产业结构，选择培育经济发展极，调整与完善各项政策，积极探索区域经济合作的新模式等，以实现江西的崛起。 【关键词】中部崛起； 区域经济；发展战略 ABSTRACT  Since the Third Plenary Session, Jiangxi in reform and opening up and development, a strong impetus to the development of economy.
