II Electric Control and Operation Summary This section is mainly introduces the electric principle and operation of our company produced Flexo Folder and Gluer. This machine is consists of two units: folder unit and counter ejector unit (CE). Its electric operation adopts Siemens PLC and the network that formed by the Rexroth servo control system. The folder gluer main station uses Siemens 300PLC, which is connected with printer main station Siemens 300PLC　by MPI. The buttons on the control panel can be used for the related function control. For details, you can refer to the below part 1 the control panel operation instructions． The CE unit is equipped with SIMATIC MP277 10’’ touch screen, which is connected PROFIBUS-DP network by DP sub-station. It can monitor the machine running station and parameters. All parameters can be set quickly by touch screen and adjusted manually or automatically. You can refer to the part2 Touch Screen Operation Instruction for the details. Part 3 is about the electric principle chart, which shows with the converter parameters and module switches setting. That is easy for the maintenance operator’s troubleshooting or component changing. The last part is about electric wiring diagram that is convenient for the electric wiring troubleshooting, maintenance and components changing. Control Panel Operation Instruction The CPU214C-2DP in the electric cabinet of the felxo folder gluer is connected with CPU315-2DP on the main computer table of the printer by MPI, so the buttons on the control panel of felxo folder gluer can control the speed increase/ decrease, machine off and feeding on / off of the printer machine as well. When the “Folder Adjust with Slotter” screen of the printer machine shows “online is allow”, change the slotting knife and sheet width values and click “Folder All Adjust Start”, the positions of OS./DS. folding rail, glue lateral, backstop and hold down roller will change, too.
