Lesson 19 Li Ming’s letter Items Specific contents Supplement 教学设计思路 Summary of Teaching Design 教师在歌曲“I love my family”中展开本次教学,教学过程中教师以提问的方式对学生进行引导,然后通过角色表演、情境对话、对比等方式激发学生的学习兴趣和热情,从而收到较好的教学效果。 教学目标 Teaching Aim 1.Knowledge and abilities (1) 词汇:envelope (四会) (2) 能理解课文内容,并能模仿进行对话交际。 2.Course and methods (1)教师通过任务教学引导学生循序渐进地掌握所学知识。 (2)教师通过创设情境、对比等方式帮助学生加深对所学知识的理解并进行运用。 3.Emotion and attitude 鼓励学生在生活中与父母、朋友等进行书面交流,体味真情的美好。 教学重难点 Key Points and Special Difficulties (1)Key Points 掌握四会词汇:envelope, (2)Special Difficulties 学生能够写出格式正确的英文信件。 教学媒体 Teaching Media radio and tape recorder, projector, pictures relating with the text, computer and disk 教学过程 Teaching Course 1.Lead in Step one: Greeting. Step two: Sing a song “I love my family”. Step three: Asking questions The teacher tells the students: Li Ming misses his parents and he wants to share his experience in Beijing with his parents. What does he do? 参考“优秀课件” 2.Start new lesson Step one: (1)The teacher plays the audiotape. (2)The students ask questions about the text. (3)The teacher summarizes the questions and focuses on the problems the students have in common. Step two: Teaching envelope (1)The teacher shows the students the pictures of the envelope, asking “What’s this?” (2)The teacher shows the students different types of envelopes. (3)The teacher reads the word and the students follow. (4)The teacher asks the students to draw an envelope and write the word. (5)The teacher asks the students to compare the differences between Chinese letter and English letter. Step three: Teaching different parts of the envelope (1)The teacher asks one student to draw a big envelope on the blackboard. (2)The teacher asks the following questions: What’s the name of this part? Is this left or right? (3)The teacher repeats the parts of the envelope. Step four: Practice (1)The teacher asks the students to write the words “left, right, top and bottom” on the envelope. (2)The teacher review the parts “left, right, top and
