Lesson5 When’s Your Birthday ?(第1课时)
教学目标:
1 能听说认读本课的新单词。
2 能掌握句型What’s the date today? It’s ….. When’s your birthday?
3 培养学生热爱生活的情感。
教学重点:单词 present \date\September\October
句子 What’s the date today? It’s May 6.
When’s your birthday? On September 2.
教学难点:能在具体的语境中应用所学词句。
教学过程:一 Warm up:
1 Greeting
2 Look and write words.出示卡片,生看图写单词。
3 T: ( Put on a “birthday hat’’)Today is my birthday. When’s your birthday?引出本课课题并板书。
二 Presentation
1 Learn new words : look at cards and try to sound the new words ,then read after the tape or teacher.
2 Have a match: look and read the new words ,then try to spell the words.
3 Learn new sentences:出示日历,用红笔圈出May 6 September2.引出本课重点句子What’s the date today? It’s May 6. When’s your birthday? On September 2.
三 Practice
1 Listen to the tape and repeat.
2 Practice the dialog in groups.
3 Let’s act in groups.

1 Copy the words.
