一、教学内容
1. Western, Chinese
2. The song “Red River Valley.”
二、教学目标
1、知识方面: ①能读、写、说出并且听懂下列单词: Western, Chinese.
② The song “Rainbow.”
2、能力方面:语言技能的培养。
三、教学重难
1. Something about Chinese or Western.
2. The song “Red River Valley.”
四、教具准备
运用多媒体、卡片、实物辅助教学。
五、教学步骤
Step 1: Greetings
Step 2: Warming-up activities
When the teacher shows a word card, the students should say the opposite words according to the word on the card.
(Review adjectives:fast and slow, easy and hard, fat and thin, loud and quiet, big and little, cold and hot, happy and sad, old and young, short and tall …)
Step3: New Concepts
1.????? Play some Chinese music and Western music.
Learn “Western” and “Chinese”.
(Note the capitals at the beginning of both adjective.
Note the word “west”in“Western.”
2.????? Have a match
Divide the students into two groups.
播放一些比较著名的中国音乐和西方音乐片段(如梁祝,茉莉花,金蛇狂舞,天鹅湖,致爱丽丝,蓝色多瑙河等。)
The groups should discuss it is Western music or Chinese music.
The groups who knows more is the winner.
3.????? T: Do you like music? Do you like to sing?????
Ss: Yes!
T: Where can we sing?
Ss: At the music class\home…
Show a picture of a karaoke restaurant.
T: And I can sing in a karaoke restaurant. This is a karaoke restaurant.
4.????? T: What can we do in a karaoke restaurant?
Ss: We can sing\eat.
T: What can we eat?
Ss: hamburger\French fries\noodles\dumplings…
Show the pictures: Hamburgers, French fries and milk are Western food.
Noodles, rice and dumplings are Chinese food.
T: What else is Western food \Chinese food?
T: What else is Western or Chinese ?
5.????? Play number 1 and then read after it.
1).Ask some questions about the text:
①What does Li Ming want to eat?
②What does Jenny want to eat?
③Who sings first?
④Does the man sing softly?
⑤Who sings best?
2). Role play
Step 4: Song
1. Teach the song line by line to the students.
2. Sing the song together.
Step 5: Class Closing
Sing “Red River Valley.”
