No.: W393-E1 Thank you for your patronage of OMRON and OMRON products. New Low-end CJ1M CPU Units, the CJ1M-CPU11/21 are being released for marketing. This document introduces the specifications, setting methods, and application methods for the CJ1M-CPU11/21. Overview The CJ1M-CPU11/21 are small, fast, flexible, and seamless, and they are designed to provide high added-value to a wide range of equipment as Low-end CJ1M CPU Units in the CJ Series. Although they have a program capacity of 5 Ksteps, an I/O capacity of 160 points maximum, and some restrictions in functionality, all basic application methods are the same as the CJ1M CPU Units. The CJ1M-CPU11/21 are supported by CX-Programmer Ver.3.3 or later. Features Program Capacity: 5 Ksteps, I/O Capacity: 160 Points Although designed for small-scale machine control, the CJ1M-CPU11/21 provide the basic func- tionality of the other CJ-series CPU Units. All of the many Units in the CJ Series can be used with these new CPU Units. Memory Card Interface and RS-232C Serial Communications Port Are Standard Features Just as for the other CJ-series CPU Units, a Memory Card interface and RS-232C port for serial communications are provided. And just like the other CJ1M CPU Units, the RS-232C serial commu- nications port can also be used for serial PLC links. Built-in High-seed Counter Inputs and Pulse Outputs The CJ1M-CPU21 also supports the same wide range of pulse I/O as the earlier CJ1M CPU Units with Pulse I/O. •Two Encoder Inputs (Single-phase, 100 kHz
