Also, the effect of the specific surface area of tailings on the compressive strength of foamed concrete was studied. Results show that the addition of tailings has significant effect on the compressive strength 25 of foamed concrete, compared with the blank sample, 10% tailings with a specific surface area of 2 233m /kg can increase the compressive strength by 84%, while 10% tailings with a specific surface area of 1161
