Researchonthe differencial settlement ofoiltank foundation after dynamiccompaction AbstractStoragetanksareimportant equipmentsintheoilstorageandtransportation system.Theyallhaveveryhighrequirementsongroundandfoundations.Dynamiccompactionmethodisawayofreinforcingground.Theresearchonworking propertiesofdynamiccompactiongroundandfoundationisveryimportantfor storagetanks,itcanmakethedesignandconstructionmorerational.Thethreatof storagetankmainlyfromdifferentialsettlementoffoundationandthelarge deformationofthefloor.Withloadgrowingfromthelarge-scalegrowingandthe increasinglycomplextechnicalrequirements,foundationsettlementanddifferential settlementincreasinglystringentrestrictions.Analysisandcalculationsonthe settlementofdomesticandforeignscholarshavecarriedoutrelevantresearch,andits theoryisintroducedtodesignspecification.Thereisnouniformstandardabout foundationsettlementanddeformationvaluetothepresent.Foundationsettlement researchis stillaproblemthatis worthdiscussing.Thisthesisreliesonpetro-chinatorch-planprojects:two-dimensionalfinite elementmethodintheanalysisoflargetanksgroundsettlement.Mainlyontheuseof dynamiccompactionoftheUAE’soiltankproject,analysisingthedeformationof floor.This articlediscusses thefeasibilityofmodelparamentersin-situtestingmethod forthecalculation,anddothelaboratorytesttosamplesofthesandysoilfromthe UnitedArabEmiratestoobtainamorecompleteandaccuratemodelparameters. Establishedbytwo-dimensionalfiniteelementsoftware,finiteelementmodelsto simulatethesettlementofthetankfoundationintheloadingprocess,discussedthe impactofdifferentfiniteelementmodelparametersofoiltanksettlement.Itprovides thebasisfortheadjustmentofthesimulationparametersintheproject.Adetailed analysishascarriedoutonthelargeoil tankfoundationtreatmentfieldtest.It providesareferenceforparameterselectioninthenumericalsimulationoflargeoil tanks.Accordingtotheresearchandanalysisforaparticularproject,establishing correspondingfoundationmodel andchoosingratherexactdesignparametersto analysi
