“Modern Media Western China International Fair” ------The Academic Conference on International Media was held in Sichuan University Time: 2010-12-22 Source: The College of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University On the morning of 21st December, the ‘International Media Academic Conference on Modern Media Western China International Fair’, organized by the College of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University and Journalism Research Institute of Sichuan University, was held in the Arts Academic Building of Sichuan University. The members who attended this conference were: the Vice-president of Sichuan University Prof. Zhao Changwen, the deputy director Mr. Wang Mian of Western China International Fair, and the secretary of the party committee Mr. Xiong Lan of the College of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University, etc. There were more than 20 representatives from other relevant institutes and medias participating this conference. The conference hosts were the director Mr. Ouyang Hongsheng of Journalism Research Institute of Sichuan University and director Mr. Hou Hongwei of Academic Office of Sichuan University. The Vice-president of Sichuan University Prof. Zhao Changwen, the deputy director Mr. Wangmian of Western China International Fair, and the secretary of the party committee Mr. Xionglan of the College of Literature and Journalism of Sichuan University made a speech respectively in the opening ceremony. The issue of this conference was ‘International Media Academic Conference on ‘Modern Media Western China International Fair’.
