However, with the development of society and reform of the education system, the vast majority of colleges and universities has been directly arranged to operate under the jurisdiction of the local government or the Ministry of Education. With clear industry characteristics, such schools meet the needs of the industry and cultivate a large number of high-level technical personnel indispensable to the development of the culture industry. Thus, the teaching practice of has a crucial role in the cultivation of talents. However, the implement of the practice should stay in line with the development of the industry. Apart from that, the mode of practice should also vary with the industrys need for talent and innovation be made based on the characteristics of the industry. This paper applies the method of literature research, induction and case analysis to show the connotation and characteristics of practice teaching in the University with industry characteristics. In order to highlight the point, Xidian University is cited as an example to display the teaching problems existing in Chinese universities of electronic information and stress the importance of teaching in universities with industry characteristics. The thesis consists of six parts. Part one is an introduction, serving as a starting point to show how the teaching practice is carried out in universities with industry characteristics. Based on that, the author puts forward the theme of the paper.
