ResearchandDevelopmentofUltrasonicVibrationHoningDevice CAD/CAESystem BasedonKBEAbstractWiththeimprovingofthegeneratedforce,newproductupdatesfasterandfaster,the complexityofthedesignprocessisbigger,designinvolvesknowledgealsomoreandmore widely,basedontheintelligentdesignmethodhasbecomeatoppriority.CAD/CAEsystem based onknowledgeistheknowledge engineeringtechnologycombined withcomputer assistedtechnologytheoryofthecomprehensivetechnology,itmakesthecomputeraided extensibilityofthesystemthroughcomputerrichhumanexpertsknowledgeandexperience soastoachievetheintelligentdesigncapabilities.Ultrasonicvibrationhoningdeviceusedforprocessingofdifferentdiametercylinder linerinnersurface,itsdesignprocessismorecomplicateddesignallaspectsofknowledge. CADsystembasedonknowledgecanbeofdifferenttypesofpowerultrasonichoningdevice partsparameterizeddesignandthewholedevice,effectivelyshortentherepeatdesignof workingtime,atthesametime,basedonparameterizedcompleteCAEanalysissystemfor thedesignofthepowerultrasonichoningdeviceprovides theoptimizeddesign scheme.Thispaperemphatically studiesthepowerultrasonichoningdevicebased onKBE technologyofCAD/CAE systemdevelopmentprocess. First ofall, basedonknowledgeengineeringisputforwardapproachtothestudyofpowerultrasonichoningdevice——throughtheintegrationtechnologyofproductdatamanagementPDMandPKM,setupthe powerultrasonichoningdevicebasedonknowledgeoftheCAXandPDM/PKMintegration systemframework,technologyframeworkandbasedontheintegrationofkeytechnologiesin thissystemarediscussed,forthepowerultrasonichoningdevicedesigntasktoprovidethebestsolution;Secondly,inviewofthepowerultrasonichoningdeviceintegrationsystemof CADplatform,isproposedbasedonUGsketchmodeltorealizeparameterizedmodelingand assemblyprocessofthought,andappliedtopowerultrasonichoningdeviceparameterized model.Details thedevelopmentofultrasonichoningdeviceCADsystembasedonknowledge ofthemodelingprocess,theuseofUGwerestudiedandthemethodofVisualC++for secondarydevelopment,accesstotherealizationofp
