AbstractThe main object of this thesis is the digitalized culture-experiencing interaction design. This design is supported by multi-touch technique using Hanshan Temple and Hanshan Shide as visual carrier, the toll of Hanshan Temple as auditory carrier.The summary of the history and results of both the domestic and foreign related research is the first part of the thesis. Primitive artistic theory and its communicative features are illustrated by introducing several features of multi-touch technique such as development, classification, technical theory, and the enforcing methods. Technically, multi-touch technique achieves the integration of two-way communication on a single device while conveying information. Interactive gesture-identifying features are introduced by some relative examples and comparisons. Those introductions indicate that, naturalization of gesture-identification brings about the improvements on the simulating progress and information conveyance. Since the multi-touch technique integrates both input and output devices, it brings about the user’s immersive feeling in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) procedure on both sensory and behavioral system. Tactile sensation expands a new dimension of user’s experiences in HCI procedure. To HCI procedure itself, the new sensation equals a different mode of HCI.After these, the thesis talks about three typical principles of Hanshan Temple HO-HO Culture Multi-touch 3D Interactive Design: symbolic, directly, and linking ones. Efficiency of this work-out is evaluated in the information conveyance and the user’s experiences. Counteraction designing methods are allocated into user’s visual, auditory, and tactual boundaries. All the designing works should represent the cultural meanings embodying by the object, aiming to unify the designing structure and style. Combining and analyzing the relationship between ink-painting style and the spirit of Hanshan Temple Ho-Ho Culture will facilitate the perception of t
