IAbstractFrequencyhoppingtechnologymakesthefrequencyhoppingradiobeoneoftheimportantcommunicationequipmentsinwirelesscommunicationbecauseofitsseriesofuniqueadvantages,suchasstronganti-interferenceability,antifading,security,stability,reliabilityandsoon.Withtherecentrisingofsoftwareradiotechnology,moreresearchspaceandnewresearchthinkingisgiventothefrequencyhoppingradio,moreover,thefrequencyhoppingradiobasedonsoftwarewirelessisheadingforsmaller-sizedequipment,morefunction,moreconveniently-taken.Thesoftwareradiosystempracticallydevelopedrecentlycan’tadoptthewholefrequencydigitalizedsystem,fortheRFfrontendstillworksattheseparatefrequencyandRFtechnologywhichneedsbreakingistoomuchsuchaslownoiseamplifier,broadbandlinearpoweramplifier,tunablepre-selector,broadbandRFupperandlowerfrequencyconverterandsoon.Toachieveahighersamplingrateandprecision,ahighertheoryrequirementisputforwardtothedesignofthesignal’sbandwidthandtheRFintermediatefrequencychoice,whichmakesitvaluabletoresearchtheoreticallyontheRFfrontendsbasedonthesoftwareradio.Themaintargetofthepaperistodesignaprocessingcircuit,whichcanmaketheRFfrontendofthereceiverhavealownoisecoefficient,agoodmirrorinhibition,asuitablegain.andaproperchoice.ThepaperproposesadesignschemefortheRFfrontendoftheVHFFrequencyhoppingradiobroadbandreceiverbasedonthesoftwareradio,andadoptthesuperheterodynesecondarymixingmirrorinhibitionstructure,whichisrealizedbytheintermediatefrequencybandpass.Andwhat’smore，thedesignforthesystembuildingandthesimulationisdonethroughADS,andtheresultofthesimulationshowsthatthedesignmeettheneed.Thedesignforthedifferentfunctionmodules,includingthefilteroftheRFfrontend,themixing,theamplifierandsoon,isdonethroughtheresearchandanalysisofthefunctionmodulesinthescheme,moreover,thepaperdiscussesthefeasibilityofthesecondarymixinginreceiver’sRFfrontend,solvestheproblemeffectivelythatsomenoisemaybebroughtinafterthesecondarymixing,andkeepstheadvantagesofsuperheterodynereceive,suchashighsensitivity,goodchoicesandsoon,andmeanwhile,
