AbstractNextgenerationnetwork,whichisbasedonpacketassemblenetwork,isthehybridnetworkwithmulti-servicesinvoice,dateandvideo.VoIPistheoutcomeofthiscombination.Intheforeseeablefuture,VoIPserviceswillgraduallyreplacethetraditionaltelephoneandeventuallyIP.MoreconcernwillbegivenupondevelopingandconsummatingtheVoIPtechnologytosubstitutePSTN.Soft-switchisthecoreofthecallingandcontrollingforthenextgenerationnetwork,whichkeepstheserviceaccessmoduleoftheswitchasaseparatephysicalentity,MediaGateway(MG).ThisthesisresearchesanddesignsmediagatewaysystemISAM-V,whichcanprovideaccessandcontrolfunctionsforVoIPandhastheabilitytohavesmoothtransitiontothenextgenerationnetwork.Firstly,thisthesisanalyzesthedevelopmentandmarketprospectsoftheVoIP,introducesthebasicprinciples,architectureandprotocolsofVoIPanddiscussesthemediagatawayandmediagatawaycontrolprotocolH.248/MEGACO.Then,basedontheISAM-VsystemofAlcatelShanghaiBell,thearchitectureandthesoftwareofISAM-Varedesigned.Itoffersthefunctionsofsysteminitialization,packethandling,callsetup/releaseandparameterconfiguration.Then,thesisfinishesthesystemtestingwork,andthetestingresultshowsthatISAM-VcanconnectsubscriberterminationofPSTNandISDNtoIPnetwork.Finally,thedevelopmenttendencyoftheresearchinthisthesisissummarized.Keywords:NGNSoft-switchVoIPMediaGateway目录摘要..................................................................................................................IAbstract................................................................................................................II1绪言1.1引言..........................................................................................................(1)1.2下一代网络（NGN）与软交换.............................................................(1)1.3VoIP优势及应用前景.............................................................................(3)1.4本课题组织结构和研究内容..................................................................(4)VoIP技术2.1引言............................................................................
