AbstractChina and Russia, Brazil, South Africa, India jointly formed the BRICS . The five countries has a deep foundation in the field of energy cooperation. Currently ,50 nuclear reactors belong to the worlds 66nuclear reactors which are under construction are the BRICS，In the sixth session of the BRICS summit setup in July 2014,Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin called for a BRICS energy alliance to deepen the energy trade of the five countries. Before this time, the BRICS countries have successfully held five summit. And in first summit and the third summit ,the issues are involved in the energy sector respectively. Based on the different focus of its own energy interests, at present,the five countries mainly cooperated in the form of bilateral cooperation, and they have not yet reached a unified agreement on energy investment field. The level and the depth of the cooperation also vary. Therefore, in order to achieve the common interests of the five countries in the field of energy and to promote the further development of energy, alleviate the pressure produced by energy investment disputes, it is imminent to build a country energy investment dispute settlement system among the five countries . This is not only related to the reality demand, but also related to the development of the major.This thesis consists of preface and the text.And the text is constructed in six parts.PartⅠThe basic meaning of the energy investment in the BRICS and its’ categories mainly studies the basic introduction to energy investment, including the concept of energy investment and species. Pointing out the national energy investment dispute of the countries is different from other types of energy investment.
