Unit1 I enjoyed my holidays 1. When people go on holiday they travel in different way. Some go by plane; some take trains; others like travelling by bike; some drive their own cars; some go to cities like Dalian by ship. 2. When people go on holiday, they stay in various places. Some go to hotels; others stay with their friends in their homes; some rent an apartment or villa; some spend their holidays in seaside resorts. 3. Many people go to interesting places on holiday. Some people travel with their friends. They like travelling together. Some travel with their parents. They are too young and can’t travel on their own. Some travel with their parents because their parents are busy and have no time to spend with them on weekdays. On holiday they can enjoy a good time together. 4. Eric went to a small city near a mountain on holiday last winter. He was excited to see so much snow. There was snow everywhere, on the mountain, on the ground, on the trees, and on the roofs of houses. They looked so beautiful. Eric took many pictures there. He tried for the first time to ski there. It was exciting. He started to ski very slowly. He fell down times. He tried again and again. He learned to ski. Of course he could not ski very fast. He also had local food in the hotel. The food was tasty and delicious. He had hade a wonderful time there. It was an interesting holiday. He wanted to go back again in future. Unit2 I felt happy I remember the first day I went to school. It was 5 years ago and I was 7 at that time. That morning, I got up very early. Actually I didn’t have much sleep the night before. I felt so excited and a little bit nervous. I put on my new school uniform and my mother took me to the school. She said hello to my teacher. I said nothing. My teacher looked so beautiful and she smiled to me. I felt very happy. She took me to the class. There were so many children in the classroom. I didn’t know them. I felt nervous again.
