The course is compulsory for Management students. It extends over 1 semester and worth 3 credits if successfully completed. Aims The course aims to provide an overview of the fundamentals of management, which implies coverage of the basic functions of management – planning, organizing, leading and controlling. Objectives On completion of this module you should be able to: Understand the major concepts of management, Demonstrate an understanding on the application of management concepts within organizations, Identify central issues and problems in real management world, Achieve at least a pass mark!
