AbstractAstheimportantpublicspacesincityandopenspacesfullofvitality,streetprovidestrafficforthecitizen,atthesametime,itbecomesthegeneratorofpeoplesdailylivesandexchanges.treflectstheappearanceofthecity,showsthecitysimage,anditisthedistinctiveurbanspace.However,intheprocessofrapidurbanization,therapiddevelopmentofmotorvehiclesandscalechangesofstreetspace,Roadseemsmoreimportantthanstreet,whichleadstothestreetlackofdetaildesign,lowqualityandlessstreetlives.Ignoringhumanbehavioralandpsychologicalindifferenceofstreetspacedesign,resultsinalargenumberofstreetswithmonotonousimage,whichmakepeopleflee,hateandnegativeemotions.Inthecontextofthisreality,theauthorcombinedwithherexperienceofstreetspaceandrelatedtheoreticalstudy,putsforwardtheideaoffoldspacedesignonstreet.Infact,thefoldsareeverywhere,suchasfoldofclothes,paper,rock,relief,windingspaceandsoon.Onstreet,foldpresentinavarietyofcarriersintentionallyorunintentionally.Catchtingthispoints,withawholenewview,thisarticletriestomakethetendoffoldspacedesignonstreetclear,systematiclyanalyzeandclassifythestreetcombinedwiththecurrentsituation,andaimatbuildingakindofstreetwhichisdynamicandefficient,conformstothemainstream.Throughtodefinitionofstreetsandfoldspace,withthebasictheoriesofstreetvitalism,environmentalpsychology,aestheticpsychologyandboundaryeffects,thispaperanalyzesthebasicform,type,roleofflodspaceonstreet,expoundsthefeasibilityofflodspacedesignonstreet,explorestheprinciplesoffoldspacedesignonstreetandconfigurationofstreetfoldspace.Onthisbasis,thisarticledividedintotwoparts.Thefirstparthaveanin-depthresearchofhowtomakethewholestreetfolding.Thesecondpartfromingthemicroperspective,startingwiththestreetspaceelements,whichincludstructuresalongthestreet,streetunderside,environmentfacilitiesandgreeninglandscape,makesasystematicandin-depthresearchofflodspaceonstreet.What’smore,thisarticlesumsupthemethodsofhowtodesignflodspaceonstreetwithalargenumberofexamples.Allinall,it’saimedatprovidinganewidealtodesigningstreetspace.Keywords：
