AbstractSpace-basedearlywarningsystemconsistsofwide-fieldscanningandnarrow-filedstaringopticalsystemstocompletethereal-timeobservationoftheballisticmissileinitiative,midcourseandreentry.Becausemidcourseisthecriticalstagetoobtainballisticorbitalparameters,attackplacement,typesofballistic,thedessertationstudiesstaringimagingsysteminLEOandcompletessurveillanceimagingtaskofmidcourseballisticmissile(midcousetarget).Thegoodcapabilityofsurveillanceimagingsystemdeterminestheaccurateandtimelymissileorbitalparameterswhichareusedbymissileinterceptionsystem,andthereasonableresearchandanalysisinstructthedesignofstaringopticalsystem.Inordertosurveillancethemidcourseballisticmissile,theconetargetisimagedbythemodeofabove-the-horizon.Byanalyzingtheorbitalaltitudeofthemidcoursetargetandsurveillanceimagingsystem,workingdistanceofopticalsystem,field-of-view,spectralrangeandradiationcharacteristicsareabtained.Modifiedspectralirradiancemodelofconesurfaceisestablished.Basedontheconstrainofeffectiveincidentcross-section,therelationshipamongtheobjectpose,directionsoftheearthradiationandlineofsightisbuilt.Basedonthedetectionrangeformulaofinfraredsystemandmatchofcoldstop,thediameterandeffectivefocallengtharecertained.Thecertainfield-of-viewandspectralrangedeterminethetypeoffocalplanedetector.Accordingtotheopticalsystemindicators,staringopticalsystemisdesignedintermsofimagingqualityandtolerance.Keywords：midcousetarget，above-the-horizon，effectiveincidentcross-section，opticaldesign，infrareddetectionrange目录摘要...........................................................................................................IAbstract.......................................................................................................II第1章绪论.............................................................................................11.1课题背景及研究目的和意义..........................................................11.2空间红外目标天基监视系统发展概况...........................................11.2.1预警卫星研究概况...........................
