AbstractInrecentyears,withtheaccelerationofurban-ruralintegration,theproblemswhichappearedintheprocessofrurallandexpropriationhavebecomeincreasinglyprominentandsharp,andalsocausedalotofthegovernmentdepartmentsandscholars’attention.Inviewofthissituation,therehasbeenahotlydebatedtopicinChinaintheyearofNPCandCPPCC,thatisrurallandreformtoletfarmersonthelandrealbenefit.Andthethirdplenarysessionoftheeighteenthonrurallandreformwhichmakesarrangementsfromthreemainaspectsmainlyincludes:inaccordancewiththeplanningandcontrolontheusagesofruralcollectiveconstructionlandallowedtoenterthemarket,andenjoythesamerightsandthesamepricewithStateownedland;onthebasisofclearingthecollectiveownership,stablinghouseholdcontractrightandliveningtherightoflandmanagement,allowingtherighttolandcontractualmanagementtomortgagefinancingfromfinancialinstitutions;carefullyandsteadilypushingforwardthefarmershousingmortgages,guaranteesandtransfer,exploringthechannelsforpeasantstoincreasepropertyincome.Fromthetrendoflandreform,wecanseethatthefarmers’admittedrightsandinterestsscopeinthelandisconstantlyexpanding.Andtheprotectionoffarmersisalsostrengthened.Thebiggestproblemappearedintherurallandexpropriationistheissueofcompensation,includingthecompensationprinciples,compensationstandards,compensationscopeandexpenseallocation/distribution.However,eachpartoftheseaspectshassomeproblems,andtherelatedlegislationalsoneedsimprovement.Therefore,inordertospeeduptheconstructionofareasonablerurallandexpropriationcompensationsystem,manyexpertsandscholarsofferadviceandsuggestionsfromacomprehensiveandmacroperspective.Inthispaper,theauthorwilldiscussoneaspectofrurallandexpropriationcompensation,whichisthecompensationrange,fromamorespecificpointofview.Firstofall,byexploringandanalyzingthelegalbasisofcompensationoflandexpropriation,theauthorwillprovethenecessityandlegitimacyofthecompensationandconfirmthecompensationprinciple,sothatthecompensationprinciplescanbeusedtoguidealltheaspectsofcompensation.Secondly,fromtheangleofinte
