ABSTRACTPyrethrum(ChrysanthemumCinerariifolium)isaspeciesofperennialherbageplants,andasoleindustrialinsecticidalplantallovertheworld.Becauseofexcellentinsecticidalcharacteristicsofpyrethrins,includinghighefficiency,lowtoxin,broad-spectrum,lowresidues,andalowimpactonthehumanbeingandenvironment,pyrethrinshavebecomeoneofthemostimportantbiologicinsecticides.Thepyrethrinsaremainlysynthesizedinpyrethrumflowersandthecontentismorethan95%.Thecontentinthedriedflowersisabout1.2-2.0%.Atpresent,naturalpyrethrinshavebeenwidelyusedinagriculture,forestry,biologicalpesticides,foodhygieneandsafetyandotherfields
