Fulfilling Lives – Stoke-on-TrentJob DescriptionJob Title:Learning and Evaluation ManagerResponsible to:Project DirectorResponsible for:Expert citizen evaluators (volunteers)Expert citizen educators (volunteers)Working hours:37 hours per week (Monday to Friday - flexible hours are a requirement of the post)Employer:Brighter FuturesPurpose of the jobThe purpose of this role is to implement a programme of training and learning as set out in the project plan. You will also conduct local evaluation activityand report lessons learnt. You will be responsible for the day-to-day development and delivery of the learning and evaluation programme for the project working closely with local evaluators. You will lead the learning sub-group of the partnership board. You will recruit, lead, motivate and support a team of volunteer expert citizen evaluators and educators to deliver training and gather relevant data about the effectiveness and value of the project. You will analyse and interpret data then report your findings and recommendations to relevant people, groups, and organisations. You will liaise as necessary with the national evaluationsand provide support to those programmes.Summary of key objectives1You will commission, develop, and deliver the learning plans and evaluation plans for the programme1.1Develop and implement a programme to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of services for people with multiple needs incorporating a variety of suitable techniques; e.g. surveys, interviews, focus groups, and mystery shopping 1.2Ensure the involvement of service users, staff, commissioners and relevant others in the evaluation1.3Develop and implement the learning plan for a wide range of staff, volunteers, and partners involved in the delivery of services to people with multiple needs1.4Ensure that this programme helps expert citizens to articulate their experience of services and foster improved understanding among service providers and commissioners2You will collec
