II Teaching Tips When writing a poster, you are supposed to 1. Make sure you include the basic information for the event; 2.To highlight the most important points to be conspicuous; 3. Use simple sentence patterns or phrases. III Teaching Procedure Step1 Warm up Step2 Presentation Step3 Practice Step4 Mini-Projects Step1 Warm up Posters are practical writings with characteristics of advertisements. They are mostly printed, including both textual and?graphic?elements. Posters are designed to be both informative and eye-catching. They may be used for many purposes, mostly to inform people of particular events, such as academic lectures, association recruitments, competitions, movies, concerts, etc. The format for posters is flexible. With the basic information included, posters are designed artistically.
