ABSTRACTSincereformandopening,withtherapiddevelopmentofcivilization,architecturalindustrygetsanunprecedentedmomentum.Accordingtothestatistics,Chinahasthebiggestamountofconstructionintheworld,andthearchitecturalmarketisexpandingrapidly.Undersuchmacrobackground,manycityproblemsofconstructionareexposed,andnewrequirementforarchitecturalindustryandeducationisdemanded.Suchchangesinsocietyanderaprovidenewchancesforthepeopleworkinarchitecturaleducation,soarchitecturaleducationfaceswithunprecedentedprosperity,andnewchallengesandopportunities.Inordertosuitthechallengeofnewera,theconceptofcultivatingarchitecturaldesigntalentsshouldbecultivated.Thedevelopmentofsocietyandeconomyneedverifiedtalents.Theadvanceofarchitecturalleveldemandsthehighercreativeabilityandcomprehensiveprofessionalabilityofdesigners.Therapiddevelopmentofarchitecturaltechnologydemandsabundanceofknowledgeandattentiontothelatestscience.Inall,architecturaleducationshouldbediversifiedandhavecharacteristics.ThisthesispresentsthedevelopingprocessofwesternandChinesearchitecturaleducation,andpondersthecurrentconditionofarchitecturaleducationathomeandabroadbysummarizingandresearchingonabundanceofliterature.Bycomparingmethod,thisthesisdrawslessonsfromthecharacteristicsofdifferentcultivatingmodesofwesternarchitecturaleducation,andputsforwardcomprehensiveadjustingmeasurestoarchitecturaleducationonthebasisofanalyzingtheexistingproblemsofcurrentarchitecturaleducationinChina.First,thisresearchgivesananalysisandsummarytothemodesandcharacteristicsofeveryperiodofhistory.Thisthesispresentsamacroandcomprehensiveviewonthecurrentarchitecturaleducation.Theresearchobjectisarchitecturalundergraduates’students.Throughthetwoaspectsoftheinherentconditionsandsocialeconomicdevelopment,thisthesisanalyzestheproblemsincultivatinggoalsandmodes,andsummarizesthereasonforsinglecultivatingmodefromthethreeaspectsofeducationsystem,educationpositionandeducationculture;andanalyzestheproblemsproducedforthesinglenessofarchitecturaleducationfrommacro,me
