AbstractThequalityofdynamiccharacteristicsisoneofthemostimportant factors affectingtheperformanceandelectricallifeofacontactor.Dynamicprocessisa complexprocessinteractedbyelectricfield,magneticfield,mechanicalmovement andtemperaturefield.Thetraditional dynamicanalysismethodsonlyconsider dynamiccharacteristicscoupledbyelectricfield,magneticfieldandmechanical movement,ignoringthetemperatureeffect.However,thedifferencebetweenhigh temperaturelifeandnormaltemperaturelifeindicatestheimportanceofthe temperatureeffectondynamiccharacteristics.Inthispaper,amulti-fieldcoupling model ofcontactorcoupledbyelectricfield,magneticfield,mechanicalmovement andtemperaturefieldisbuiltdealingwithaspecificACcontactor,electromagnetic characteristicsarecalculatedandtestsaredonetodemonstratetheeffectivenessof themodel.Basedonthenewtestedmodel,theeffectoftemperatureondynamic characteristicsisanalyzedandtwooptimizingdesignmethodsareproposed,in ordertoimprovetheperformanceofthecontactor.Firstly,inthispaper,a multi-fieldcouplingmodelofcontactorcoupledby electricfield,magneticfield,mechanicalmovementandtemperaturefieldisbuilt. Byanalyzingthestructureandperformanceparametersofthecontactor,magnetic circuitmodel,electriccircuitmodel,mechanicalmovementmodelandtemperature fieldmodelarebuiltrespectively.Furthermore,analysis oftherelationshipbetween temperature-sensitiveparametersandtemperature,includingcoilparameters, magneticpropertiesofthepermanentmagnetandmechanicalpropertiesofelastic elementsisdoneandthe mechanismoftemperatureaffectingtheparametersis given,aiming torealizethenewcouplingmodel.Secondly,dynamicandstaticcharacteristicshavebeencalculated.Thereaction forceandstaticattractionforcearecalculatedbyfiniteelementanalysistothis modelandthemodelischeckedbytheobtainedpull-inandreleasevoltages, preliminarily.Thenthedynamiccharacteristicsarecalculatedafterloadingthe reactionforcecurvetothismodel,todemonstratethecorrectnessofthemodelby testingthetimeparameter.Thirdly,theeffectoftemperatureondynamicc
