Etiology Etiology studies the contributing factors that cause diseases including causative, predisposing, and precipitating factors. Physical factors Physical agents include mechanical injuries, extremes of temperature, electricity and radiation. Chemical factors Chemical agents: can damage cells by varies pathways.
