Competitive status of Chinas retail industry
Retail industry is one of the most important industries in Chinas third industry. With the further liberalization of retail industry at the end of 04, it has entered the buyers market and the era of meager profit. How to survive and develop in the competition becomes the most serious problem in front of commercial retail enterprises. According to the State Information Center released the retail industry forecast report shows that from 2005 to 2010, China retail industry will maintain an annual growth rate of 8% to 10%, to 2020, total retail sales of social consumer goods will exceed 20 trillion yuan.
At present, the degree of China fierce competition in the retail industry is the worlds largest, the worlds 50 largest retail enterprises have at least 2/3 into China for this big cake, the retail industry in 2006 China vassal and male and fight the world trend intensified, from the city to the countryside, multi state and professional development, expansion and regional concentration the trans regional expansion strategy has become the retail chain enterprises have to face the choice of any enterprise cannot do out the potential, and the competition between enterprises is more concentrated in the ability to store expansion capital and brand strength and quality of human resources on the race.
