This article in view of the city fire emergency decision-making process to all the factors involved with geographical information system the basic theory and related software, research city fire emergency situation of the application of, development trends and application needs, set up a city fire emergency design model, introduced the application of the model function, this article designs mainly USES the GIS spatial analysis ability strong ArcGIS software, this paper main research work and achievement have: 1. To fire and related concepts are discussed; Expounds the present situation of the application of the geographic information system, development trend. 2. Introduce design software of ArcGIS softwares space analysis technical features, the paper focuses on ArcGIS spatial analysis technology in network analysis, buffer analysis, fold for analysis, the application of statistical analysis, detailed analysis discussed the design thought of ArcGIS space and realization method. 3. According to the geographic information system in urban fire emergency application status and development trend, combining GIS platform the characteristics and needs of the use of ArcGIS software related modules, establish a design scheme will geographic information system applied to city fire emergency, for city fire emergency, fire control decision-making reference.
