6. 条件状语从句 （高职高专课本第二册：Unit 5） 引导条件状语从句的连词有：if, in the event that, on condition that, unless (=if not), provided (that), providing, supposing, suppose (that), so long as, in case, … ＊if 引导的条件句有真实条件句和非真实条件句两种，非真实条件句见“虚拟 语气”: EG: You will be late unless you leave immediately. Providing you promise not to tell anyone else, I’ll explain the secret. So long as 7. 让步状语从句 （高职高专课本第二册：Unit 5） 引导让步状语从句的连词有： though/ although, even if / though. ＊使用though，although 时，避免与but 连用。 ＊ though与although 的用法比较。（高职高专课本第二册： P122: a, b;） ＊当让步状语从句指某种假设情况时，通常用though而不是用although。 ＊even if 和even though 语气较强，though 和although 语气较弱。 ＊ if 既可引导条件状语从句又可引导让步状语从句，根据其句意而定。 EG: If he is poor, he is very honest. 虽然很穷，但是他却很诚实。（让步） If we break, we can benefit from our failure. 即使我们破产了，也能从失败中汲取教训。（条件） ＊ though 所引导的让步状语从
