浅谈初中生英语口语能力的培养 [摘要] 英国学者威尔金斯认为外语教学的目的在于培养学生不仅能用正确的外语语音和语法结构来表达思想，而且还要能在各种不同的语言环境正确使用外语。因此，课堂教学的任务就不仅仅是教会学生正确的发音，正确的语法知识，而是要培养学生的口头表达和交际能力。口语是语言输出的重要途径之一。但由于多年来中考考试中主要是侧重考查听力，阅读，写作等能力。没有涉及到口语。出现了轻视甚至完全忽视初中生英语口语能力培养的现象。致使学生口语能力水平较差。甚至最简单的自我介绍也不会。英语口语是语言知识和语言技巧的综合能力的表现，要求初中生把语言知识和口语技巧正确地、恰如其分地运用到特定的语言环境中去，达到准确交际的目的。社会呼吁学校对初中生的口语表达能力给予高度重视，只有这样才能培养出新上世纪的新型人才。 [关键词] 初中生；英语口语能力；培养 Talking about How to Cultivate the Oral English Ability of Junior Middle School Students Abstract：Wilkins，the British scholar thought the purpose of foreign language teaching is not only educating students to express their own thoughts with right words and grammar structures, but also speaking fluent English in all different kinds of language conditions. Therefore，the task of teaching and learning is not only teaching students how to pronounce correctly but mainly educating students’ expressing ability of the important ways of oral English and communications. Oral English is one of the important ways of language exporting. But for many years，in the entrance examination of middle school students, there are many skills of listening，reading and writing，but no oral English testing. Developing junior middle school students’ oral English ability is ignored. Most students feel more difficult in introducing themselves. Oral English shows the language knowledge and language skills. Junior middle school students should use them correctly and suitably in a sentence so as to communicate correctly. All the people appeal the schools to pay more attention to the oral English ability of junior middle school students. In this way the schools can train qualified students of 21st century.
