第三方审核机构认可　　(a)Definitions 　　Inthissection: 　　(1)Auditagent 　　Theterm“auditagent”meansanindividualwhoisanemployeeoragentofanaccreditedthird-partyauditorand,althoughnotindividuallyaccredited,isqualifiedtoconductfoodsafetyauditsonbehalfofanaccreditedthird-partyauditor. 　　(2)Accreditationbody 　　Theterm“accreditationbody”meansanauthoritythatperformsaccreditationofthird-partyauditors. 　　(3)Third-partyauditor 　　Theterm“third-partyauditor”meansaforeigngovernment,agencyofaforeigngovernment,foreigncooperative,oranyotherthirdparty,astheSecretarydeterminesappropriateinaccordancewiththemodelstandardsdescribedinsubsection(b)(2),thatiseligibletobeconsideredforaccreditationtoconductfoodsafetyauditstocertifythateligibleentitiesmeettheapplicablerequirementsofthissection.Athird-partyauditormaybeasingleindividual.Athird-partyauditormayemployoruseauditagentstohelpconductconsultativeandregulatoryaudits. 　　(4)Accreditedthird-partyauditor 　　Theterm“accreditedthird-partyauditor”meansathird-partyauditoraccreditedbyanaccreditationbodytoconductauditsofeligibleentitiestocertifythatsucheligibleentitiesmeettheapplicablerequirementsofthissection.Anaccreditedthird-partyauditormaybeanindividualwhoconductsfoodsafetyauditstocertifythateligibleentitiesmeettheapplicablerequirementsofthissection. 　　(5)Consultativeaudit 　　Theterm“consultativeaudit”meansanauditofaneligibleentity— 　　(A)todeterminewhethersuchentityisincompliancewiththeprovisionsofthischapterandwithapplicableindustrystandardsandpractices;and 　　(B)theresultsofwhichareforinternalpurposesonly. 　　(6)Eligibleentity 　　Theterm“eligibleentity”meansaforeignentity,includingaforeignfacilityregisteredundersection350dofthistitle,inthefoodimportsupplychainthatchoosestobeauditedbyanaccreditedthird-partyauditorortheauditagentofsuchaccreditedthird-partyauditor. 　　(7)Regulatoryaudit 　　Theterm“regulatoryaudit”meansanauditofaneligibleentity— 　　(A)todeterminewhethersuchentityisincompliancewiththeprovisionsofthischapter;and 　　(B)theresultsofwhichdetermine— 　　(i)w
