Her first stop is Guinea where she will express American supports for democracy there. He died Item 2The Middle East — American Secretary of Defense William Cohen is in Oman. He is expected to meet with Sultan Qaboos bin Zayed. Oman has been an important supporter of American naval and air operations in the area. During his Middle East trip, Mr. Cohen is telling America’s allies that the United States will increase their defenses against Iraq. Earlier Secretary Cohen met with Jordan’s King Abdullah and government officials in Oman. They discussed American military aid to Jordan. And Mr. Cohen will travel to IsraelItem 3Chinese President Jiang Zemin has arrived in Morocco for a three-day visit. Mr. Jiang is to meet two times with King Mohammed = 6 \* ROMAN VI during the visit. Mr. Jiang is hoping to strengthen political and economic relations between China and Morocco. The Chinese leader arrived in Morocco Wednesday from Portugal. There he discussed with Portuguese officials the upcoming change of the territory of Macao from Portuguese to Chinese rule.Item 4President Clinton has arrived in Turkey to start a ten-day trip in Europe. Mr. Clinton will travel to Ankara to meet with Turkish President Suleyman Demirel and Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit. Later he goes to Istanbul to attend the meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. There Mr. Clinton is expected to meet with Russian President Boris Yeltsin to discuss the war in Chechnya. Mr. Clinton will also travel to Greece, Italy and Bulgaria. And he will visit American
