Teaching emphasis:
1. Let the students understand that reading is our faithful and forever friend, and we can get a lot from reading.
2. Express your opinions of reading and inspire students’ interest of reading.

1. Try to guess what the writer’s great friend is like.
2. Master some useful words and phrases about a great friend.
3. Write an e-mail to your friend to share your pleasure in reading with your friend.
