Preparatory courses: none 柒、教學目標與範圍： 性別議題在東南亞社經發展裡極為關鍵，諸如勞動力結構、家庭活動、社會制度，乃至於跨國的人力移動，都與性別脫離不了關係。同時，兩性問題是許多其他社會問題的起點，有了相當的認識，也就很容易進入其他的相關領域。本課程即針對與區域發展相關的性別議題，做一重點的探討，一方面讓學生能有較深刻的了解，另一方面也希望能幫助學生跨入其他社經領域。本課程探討的範圍如下： 女性在東南亞勞動市場的參與情況 東南亞家庭結構與在社經發展所扮演的角色 東南亞女性跨國移動的情形與境遇 如何建構東南亞女性的能力？ 東南亞性別與社會變遷 G. Course Goals and Scope: Gender related issues such labor structure, family activities, social institutions, and cross-border migration are very crucial for studying socio-economic development in many areas. Gender related problems are, in many occasions, the beginning of other social problems so that it would be much easier to get into many issues if we are familiar with gender issues in the first place. This course will explore several gender issues related to countries’ or region’s development to help students understand relevant development questions more deeply on one hand, and to help them cross over into other socio-economic aspects on the other. The scope of the course will be: Women’s participation in Southeast Asian labor markets; The role of family structure in socio-economic development; The prospects and perspective of women’s international migration; The building of women’s capability; and Gender and social change. 捌、授課方式：課堂講授及討論，搭配以多媒體展示 玖、課程綱要： H.
