Professional Employment Opportunities in the International Program Office for Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IPO-IRDR) The Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) is a major new 10-year international research programme co-sponsored by the International Council for Science (ICSU), International Social Science Council (ISSC) and United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UN-ISDR). The International Program Office of IRDR is established at the Centre for Earth Observation and Digital Earth (CEODE) of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is the first international office of a large science program ever established in Asia. The office will mainly serve the IRDR Scientific Committee, and is responsible for the operation, coordination, and promotion of IRDR.
