A study on the business English Writing of Chinese College Students 中国大学生英语商务写作情况研究 【摘 要】 商务英语写作一直以来都是国际经济贸易的重要领域。国际贸易相关专业或者英语专业相关专业的学生通常都会通过大量的训练以求获得商务英语写作的能力，然而学生们的商务英语写作依然存在问题。为了提高中国大学生的商务英语写作能力，我们应该从商务、语言和文化入手解决问题。 【关键词】 商务英语写作；问题；能力提升 【Abstract】 Business English writing has long been considered an important field of dealing international trade and commerce. College students from majors related to international business or English are usually intensively trained to acquire competence of business English writing, but they still get involved with English writing problems. Solution shall be made to improve students writing competence both in business, language and culture. 【Key Words】 Business English writing; problems; competence improvement 1.Introduction International trade and commerce has been thriving ever since centuries ago while English, the most prevailing language spoken by people all around the world, plays a significant role. Communication of International trade and commerce lays greatly on business English writing, thus large amount of material and human resources has been put on its research and extension. Chinas education emphasizes the ability of English management all through the 9-year-long compulsory education and higher education, and business English writing classes and extra training clubs are common in almost every university of Business English writing competence of college students By taking systematically courses offered by university, students started to get contract with all kinds of important features of business English writing. The difficult part of ordinary students learning is that unlike the English course they have been worked on since childhood, Business English writing is more specific, more professional and more complicated.
