In this regard, I propose the following: Hong Kong Department of Education should devote resources to the development of Life Safety curriculum, its implementation and an evaluation mechanism; It should also strengthen communication and cooperation with the various sponsoring bodies, expanding promotional work, and organize forums of Secondary School Principals; Provide professional skills training to the secondary PE teachers, to strengthen their knowledge of life safety, to promote more secondary schools in Hong Kong to incorporate life safety education courses in sports subjects.
