Abstract: wire rope is the key element in Special Equipment of elevator, lifting machinery, ropeway,etc. wire rope acts an important role in Special Equipment Management. This article generally analyzed current safety status of wire rope in Chinese Special Equipment, based on national requirement and overall target for Special Equipment safety supervision, putting forward a total new supervision solution by adopting the independent innovative Chinese non-destructive inspection technology, conducting a dynamic continuous regional monitoring, control and management for in-service wire rope, thoroughly eliminating the hidden accident in the most dangerous key position – the process of wire rope running, scientifically economizing rope cost, effectively improving productivity. Conforming to Chinas current implementation of the scientific concept of development, reform and innovation, energy reduction, safety and development of the system requirements, The new technical and supervision solution fundamentally solves the three great contradictions of hidden danger, waste and low efficiency for wire rope in Special Equipment, realizes the common supervision target of safety, cost-saving and efficiency, thus, establishes a new mode to wire rope safety supervision in Chinese Special Equipment.
