In the process of practice, students basically learn how to figure out a word regarding its pronunciation and spelling as well as how to comprehend passsages by guessing and understanding key words or sentences from the context. Students might reflect on their previous way of listening practice, during which they might get new inspiration and receive a sense of success from what they are experiencing. [Teaching procedures] I. Spot dictation: News item 1: Listen twice and have two students write their answers on the blackboard.
