华 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract With development of Socio-economic, population movement, the nuclear families and the improvement of medical standards in China, the number of the Empty nest elderly is increasing quickly. How to improve the life quality of the empty nest elderly, and how to meet the spiritual needs of the empty nest elderly, has sparked the attention of the community. With rising living standards in China, the empty nest elderly who have higher income concern their spiritual comforts. Learning the previous studies, this paper will carry out group work to explore the validity of the Social workers involved in spiritual solace empty nesters. Through the survey on the part of the empty nest elderly of H community, these empty nest elderly have high cultural level: higher income, high educational level, and the higher need for spiritual solace. Group activities were carried to meet the spiritual needs of the H Community empty nest elderly on the base of social work theory and the results of previous studies according to the three high characteristics. Completion is concluded that the formation of optimistic attitude、interests culture、communication between the peer group、exertion of their own advantage will have important significance on the spirit pleasure of the empty nest elderly. O n the basis of previous studies reference ，the group-work has been to carry out to explore the social work effectiveness of intervention empty nesters solace. The team work and the whole study still exist insignificance. Future activities should be improved. There is great significance of the Team work carried out on the empty nest elderly spiritual solace. The group carried out meet the empty nest elderly spiritual life, at the same time, enriched the experience that social workers involved in the practical of the empty nest elderly.
