A bstract: T he present paper m a in ly introduces the m easures adopted in the No. 1 S in tering
Plant in light of the undesirab le runn ing condit ions of the No. 7 BF in W SCO including adjust-
m ent of the central va lue ofR o and FeO in the sintered ore, increase in theM gO content in the
sintered ore and stabilization of the com positions of the sintered ore, mi provem en t in parts of
the equ ipm ents so as to change the chem ica l com positions and physica l properties of the ore.
