Under the circumstances of the sharp conflict between power supply and demand, the power construction in China are undergoing a period of high-speed development. ThiSj on one hand, has given an impetus to the enhancement of power equipment manufacturing level in China, and on the other hand, it has also brought great challenges to the domestic enterprises. Facing the high demand in the market， certain key technologies for those large power generation equipment manufacturing are still controlled by several well-know internationals, compared with which there is a big gap for the domestic counterparts. If there is no breakthrough in this regard, the domestic power generation market is doomed to be partitioned by foreign enterprises. The article gives a fiill analysis on this situation and proposes related measures to this problem by taking as example Beijing Beizhong Steam Turbine Generator co. Ltd. The main body of the article focuses on the following points: In the introduction is the situation faced by Chinas power development business expounded and problems in front of Chinese power generation equipment manufacturers put forward.
