This is Dolores Chue  Born on the 10th  of September, 1985 in San Diego  Dolores’ Youth  Grew up in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter  Father ran grocery store  Dolores grew up lending a hand and looking after her 2 younger sisters  College  2002-2006: San Diego Community College, Diploma in Travel  Tourism.  Worked in downtown Chinese restaurant, owned by 2nd  uncle of her father, to pay for her tuition.   During College  In 2004  2006: Traineeship with San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Dolores’ First Job  2007-2013: Works at Convention and Visitors Bureau as Manager Regional Projects.  Main tasks: Co-ordination, Communication, Event Organization.  Dolores is Fluent in English and Spanish and speaks and reads Chinese.  Parents:  Isabel Cruz (San Diego, 1950)   	          Chen Chue (Zhenjian, China, 1939)  				         immigrated to US 1958  Grandparents (father’s side):  Liu Chue (1912) and  Zhang Min (1915)   Both lived all their lives in Zhejiang, China       Grandparents (mother’s side):  Dolores Chávez (1925) and  Esteván Cruz (1922)   Immigrated from Venezuela in 1946 to San Diego    Uncle Jim (mother’s Isabel’s brother):    Uncle (Jungle) Jim’s business   What’s your advice for Dolores?  one month a budget of $ 10.000,- (or a bit more if the plan is really sharp)  helping her to learn how to walk in other people’s shoes!  * Introduce inspiration as something that needs to give life to international meetings, conferences, seminars.
