Corresponding author : SHI Yonggui, Email: shiyonggui1975 @ 126. com) Abstract: In order to impro e the efficiency of CDM A netw ork management, continuously impro e the quality of network and satisfy the requirement of consumers, a decision support system for fault management w as designed for CDMA netw ork using an artificial intelligence technique which is called casebased reasoning. T he o erall framew ork and w ork flow of the system were gi en and some key technologies of system implementation w ere designed. The alidity of the proposed system w as examined in the test ex amples where the initial case base was established using some typical daily fault management recorders of a CDMA company and the new cases w ere generated using the other recorders. T he experimental results show the proposed system can enhance the efficiency of CDMA netw ork default management .
