General Functions of Results The section of results is one of the most important elements in a professional paper, because any research should have an outcome. The value of a research lies in the value of its final results and the author’s interpretation of the results. The proceeding sections: Introduction, Investigation, Experiments, Calculations The following sections: Analysis, Discussion, Summary or conclusion To explain how the author obtains the results. To tell what the results should mean Section of results The author(s) should bring a solid foundation on which paper rests, by boiling down all the facts and data he has gained. 2).Contents of Results Two ingredients in the section of results: 1) full presentation of the specific data of the work; 2) detailed analysis of the results.
