修辞在英语专业词汇教学中的效应分析
——基于湖南农业大学的调查

摘 要:从修辞学的角度探究了英语专业基础阶段的词汇教学法。对湖南农业大学外国语学院 2005 级 107 名学生进行
了问卷调查。在 2007 级英语专业班中随机抽样抽出 60 名学生并将他们分为两个实验班,即 A 班和 B 班。然后以综合英
语课程教学为例,针对英语 A 班进行传统的词汇教学法,针对 B 班学生从修辞的多个活动层次角度进行词汇教学。半
年后的词汇测试结果表明:英语专业教师从修辞的角度从事词汇教学活动效果显著;学生在基础阶段的词汇学习中注重
选词、择句、谋篇以及对多种修辞手法的辨析将极大地激发学生词汇学习兴趣、提高其词汇学习的主观能动性,改善词
汇的教学效果。

On Application of Rhetoric in Vocabulary Teaching for English Majors
——Based on the Investigation of Hunan Agricultural Universion

Abstract: This paper studied vocabulary teaching from the angle of rhetoric. First a survey was conducted among the 107
students of Grade 2005 from the College of Foreign Languages of Hunan Agricultural University. Take Comprehensive
English Course teaching for example ,a comparative experiment of vocabulary teaching was conducted among 60 students
of Grade 2007 :to Class A traditional methods of vocabulary teaching was adopted while the same teacher Class B helped
students to learn vocabulary from the angle of rhetoric. The result showed that the richer a teacher’s knowledge of rhetoric
is,the more seriously and more skillfully a teacher makes preparation for a class,the better effect of vocabulary teac
