People throws their garbage here and there. Factories make more and more dirty water and the air that have polluted the rivers , lakes and air. Farmers cut too many trees. People makes the soil erosion(腐蚀) … If we continue to pollute the environment, life on the earth cannot survive. It is time for us to face the problem and solve it. what should we do to protect our environment ? Governments The government should establish laws to protect the air ,forests , and water resources to stop environmental pollution . Meanwhile, the government could invite some environmentalists to deliver speeches or lectures for students especially the urban（城市的）residents（居民）,it can deepen the awareness of environmental reservation（保留,预定）into people’s mind and form the habits. Moreover the appeal of government has a more strong effect , people are more willing to obey their order. Factories Factories should develop the advance（发展 前进）of science and technology to stop the air and water pollution . ?Waste water must be cleaned before it is poured into the river. People (1) people shouldnt throw away rubbish here and there. We should pick up the garbage around us. When we at home, we can turn off the electrical equipments like televisions, computers if we are not using them. Turning off the tap when we are doing something else. People(2) Go out by bus or take a bike or walk (if it is a short distance) to avoid driving a car. When we go shopping, take our own bags to the shops to carry home our groceries（杂货 生活用品）. Use recycled paper and don‘t use “throw-away” products like paper plates（盘子）and napkins（纸巾）, plastic knives, forks, and cups .
